258ANTIPARKINSONISM ACTIVITY OF ETHANOL EXTRACT OF RICINUS COMMUNIS ON LOCOMOTOR ACTIVITY IN ZEBRAFISHThe objective of this research work was to determine the anti-parkinsonism activity with the help of Ethanol Extract extracted from Ricinus communis, the phytochemical screening tests shows the presence of Tannins, Alkaloids, and Flavonoids. Parkinsonism was induced by the metronidazole (MTZ). The EERC drug were studied with different doses up to 3 weeks at dose range 2.5, 5, 7.5?g/ml, by comparing with the standard drug amantadine dose of 3?g/ml. 5 min observation of locomotor activity parameters like distance travelled, movement time, rest time are determined. The comparison between the control & standard group are done based on the above-mentioned parameters. The results are interpreted by the aid of one-way ANOVA continued by Dunnett’s test.
