activities and reducing powers activities of combined in equal proportion of each petroleum ether extract of Cardiospermum
halicacabum L. and Delonix elata L. leaves (CPCD). Ascorbic acid used as standard drug for both method and its free radical
scavenging activity and reducing power was the highest than that of CPCD. The results indicate that the CPCD showed better
DPPH scavenging action and reducing power due to synergistic and supra additive effect of phytochemicals present in the
both extracts
<Email>rselvapharmacy@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>3</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2013</year><keyword>Antioxidants,Phytochemicals,DPPH scavenging activity,reducing power</keyword><AUTHORS>S.Ravichandran,P.Panneerselvam</AUTHORS><afflication>Department of Pharmacognosy, S.Chattanatha Karayalar College of Pharmacy, Kodikurichi, Tenkasi - 627 804.
