25EVALUATION OF DPPH RADICAL SCAVENGING ACTIVITY AND REDUCING POWER OF COMBINED MEDICINAL PLANTS EXTRACTOur objective was to determine the antioxidant activities, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavenging activities and reducing powers activities of combined in equal proportion of each petroleum ether extract of Cardiospermum halicacabum L. and Delonix elata L. leaves (CPCD). Ascorbic acid used as standard drug for both method and its free radical scavenging activity and reducing power was the highest than that of CPCD.
