The current work is an attempt to standardization of ”kabasura kudineer”, a poly herbal siddha formulation, used in cough, fever and other respiratory infection etc. In-house preparation and the retail drug have been standardization on the basis of organoleptic characteristics, phytochemical properties. Mostly herbal drugs are successful but due to contamination and lack of standardization, the efficacy of the herbal drug is reduce. In the standardization of the herbal drugs that satisfy the quality, purity and safety of herbal drugs.
