During this study, acne vulgaris
patients were assessed for their quality of life. In our study, 56males and 84 females were evaluated for acne vulgaris. In all
cases, patients completed the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) and the Short Form 36 (SF-36). A SPSS (version 17)
program was used for the analysis of the data. As opposed to high scores for physical functioning, general health, vitality, and
mental health, patient scores on physical functioning, social functioning, bodily pain, and vitality were low. There was a range
of DLQI scores from 0 to 22 among acne vulgaris patients (mean + SD, 8.18 + 4.83). The DLQI scores of the two groups did
not differ statistically significantly based on gender and age. Quality of life is significantly affected by acne vulgaris. There
were no significant differences in QOL between genders or ages
<Email>Ritesh@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>12</volume><issue>2</issue><year>2022</year><keyword>Acne Vulgaris, Quality of Life, Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI),Short Form 36 (SF-36), Gender Differences, Age Impact</keyword><AUTHORS>Dr Ritesh</AUTHORS><afflication>Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Gouri Devi institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Rajbandh, West Bengal, India.</afflication></Article></Articles>
