recurrent pharyngotonsillitis, focusing on patient and episode-related medical consultations for acute sore throats. A secondary
analysis of two prior randomized controlled trials involved 312 adult patients who underwent tonsillectomy due to recurrent
pharyngotonsillitis. Results indicated that patients with chronically infected tonsillitis and female gender were more likely to
visit a physician, particularly if experiencing severe throat pain during acute sore throat episodes. These findings underscore
the importance of considering multiple factors in patient referral and treatment decisions for recurrent pharyngotonsillitis
<Email>Sajeel@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>11</volume><issue>2</issue><year>2021</year><keyword>Medical, Infection, Treatment, Throat, ENT</keyword><AUTHORS>Dr Sajeel Dounde</AUTHORS><afflication>Associate professor, Department of Otolaryngology, Viswabarathi Medical College & General Hospital, RT Nagar, Penchikalapadu, Kurnool, India</afflication></Article></Articles>
