methanolic extract of this plant showed significant antibacterial and antifungal effect against most of the pathogenic
organisms: Bacillus subtilis, Proteus mirabilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Eschericha coli, Shigella dysentriage, Proteus
mirabilis, Salamonella typhi, and two fungi Candida albicans, Tinea capitis, with especially good activity against the
Dermatophyte (Tinea capitis).Wound healing activity test on albino rats with the crude ointment of the plant showed a certain
degree of wound healing which is evident from wound concentration and increased tensile strength.
<Email>chitra_acp@yahoo.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>4</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2014</year><keyword>Euphorbia cyathophora,Phytochemical Screening,Wound Healing</keyword><AUTHORS>M.
